VENERDI’ DI QUESTA SETTIMANA DREAMER SARA’ VARATO DOPO 4 ANNI LONTANI DALL’ACQUA ma……..
quando fai un lavoro sulla barca posso dire con assoluta certezza che mai va’ tutto liscio… ne ero poco convinto all’inizio dell’avventura Dreamer ma pian piano con il tempo tutto è diventato più’ chiaro, quando metti mano devi al 90% risolvere un inghippo. Oggi è toccato alla sartia alta. Stavo preparando e controllando l’albero per la sua issata.. e osservando bene le sartie e la loro integrità voilà!! crepa nel terminale pressato… allarmato ho chiesto ad Andrea che ha confermato i miei sospetti con le seguenti parole:
” no me piase par niente mi no mètteria el cueo in acqua co na sartia cusì” (“non mi piace per niente non andrei in acqua con una sartia così”).
……Credo se Dreamer fosse arrivato dal Portogallo via mare con il precedente proprietario forse le nostre strade non si sarebbero mai incontrate in quanto al primo colpo di vento tutto sarebbe venuto giù’…….
Mi cambio al volo e parto per una visita ad un azienda che assembla sartie per barche e come prima risposta: nessun terminale con filetto stretto bisogna aspettare una settimana se tutto va bene per averlo !!! nel panico chiamo Angelo Boscolo (l’ attrezzista che mi monterà l’albero) che mi spedisce ad Albignasego  vicino  Padova, Evviva!! super riforniti!! Grazie a Dennis, un dipendente della Gaudenzi,  mi confeziona due nuove sartie nel giro di 10 minuti perfette e lucide con 4 nuovi terminali veramente affidabili!! EVVIVA TUTTO PROCEDE!!

FRIDAY OF THIS WEEK  DREAMER WILL BE  LAUNCHED AFTER 3 YEARS AWAY FROM THE WATER, but …….. When you do a job on the boat I can say with absolute certainty that never goes’ smoothly … I was not convinced at the beginning of the adventure with Dreamer but gradually with time everything has become more clear, when you work in a boat 90% you catch a problem. Today is the time of high shroud .
I was preparing and checking the mast for its raised .. and observing well the shrouds and their integrity voila! crack in pressed terminal … I asked alarmed  to Andrea master of  shipyard  that confirmed my suspicions with the following words: “I do not like anything I would not go into the water with a shroud so”.
…… I think if Dreamer came from Portugal by sea with the previous owner.. maybe our paths would never have encountered since the first gust of wind it would all come
down ……
I  leaved immediately the shipyard for a visit to a company that assembles rigging for boats and as a first response: no way  the terminal is different respect the normal stuff  and they said me to wait minimum a week to get it!
Panicked  I called Angelo Boscolo (the rigger that I will raise the Dreamer’s mast) that send me to Albignasego near Padua, Hurray!Super stocked!
Thanks to Dennis, an employee of Gaudenzi, he prepares two new shrouds within 10 minutes with 4 perfect and shiny new terminal truly reliable! for a a very cheep price!!
