ho cambiato il Gps per poterlo interfacciare con il sistema AIS e VHF DSC. Il modello precedente (Lowrance HD7 Ottimo!) aveva un solo canale di trasmissione dati quindi..o VHF DSC o AIS, non tutti e due contemporaneamente. Ora con il nuovo Lowrance HD8 ho risolto il problema. Avendo due canali uno trasmette a 4800 e l’altro a 34800 baud.
Il mio AIs sfrutta un’antenna dedicata Metz ho evitato lo split…meglio sempre un antenna di backup!!

I changed the GPS to be able to interface with the AIS and VHF DSC. The previous model (Lowrance HD7  works Great!) had only one channel of data transmission so .. or VHF DSC or AIS, not both simultaneously. Now with the new Lowrance HD8 I solved the problem. having two channels one forward to 4800 and the other at 34800 baud.
My AIs uses a dedicated antenna Metz I avoided the split … always better  have an  backup!
